Global Care Medical Center of Canlubang houses a developmentally supportive family-centered Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) which encompasses specialized care for high-risk born infants. These high-risk born infants might be the premature ones, have low birth weight or have serious medical condition (i.e., heart problems, infections or birth defects). In this regard, the unit combines advanced technology and trained health care professionals to provide utmost care for such little ones. In NICU, we guarantee parents that their newborns are closely and medically supervised by our doctors and staffs towards regaining good condition and optimum health.
The unit is principally composed of the following:
- Sick Baby Room
- Septic Room
- Lactation Room
- Out born Room
Significantly, all staff nurses at NICU are well trained and certified by the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
